For individuals and families affected by the scourge of addiction, the Catholic Parishes of Stoughton are pleased to introduce the iTHIRST Spiritual Companionship (ITSC) ministry, to provide both spiritual companionship, consolation and recovery resource information to our brothers and sisters in need.
The iTHIRST initiative empowers dioceses, parishes and communities to become a resource for those suffering from addictions and their families. At the heart of iTHIRST is an understanding that there is a spiritual dimension to the disease of addiction that cannot be met by clinical professionals, but only by the spiritual companionship, consolation and guidance that the Church can provide.
This ministry was developed by the Missionary Servants of the Most Holy Trinity, a community of priests and brothers who have been working in the field of addiction since their founding in 1921, and has been brought to the Archdiocese of Boston through various training programs that have taken place in 2019 and 2020.
To schedule a session with our parish ITSC please call Marty at 774-406-0331 or email [email protected].
